It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings. Ann Landers
Our parental instinct tells us to love and guard our children, always and forever, and at times, we are “blinded” by this belief, and we just do TOO MUCH for our children!
Allow your children to do mistakes.
Allow them to try, to be sad, disappointed or frustrated.
Allow your children to fail!
When you will cease solving everything for them, make their lives easy, fix any problem they have, make them happy and joyful, whenever they are sad or bored… your children will learn to be AUTONOMOUS and SELF-SUFFICIENT.
Most importantly, they will learn how CAPABLE and POWERFUL they are.
They will grow into human beings with CONFIDENCE and a higher sense of SELF-WORTH.
